CARE GUIDE

Australian Merino Sheepskin benefits from a little love and attention. Your consistent care will extend the life of all of our products. You can maintain this premium quality product by adhering to the following instructions:

Sheepskin is a natural fibre and as with other premium grade materials, not all stains can be removed or entirely prevented. We create your boots from the best skins available, so please exercise care during use.

To prevent water-marking your beautiful Australian Merino sheepskin, avoid wearing in heavy rain, slushy snow or wet environments. If the boots do get wet, let them dry naturally, and ensure they are fully dry before next use.

It is possible to use protective sprays to help against dirt or watermarks. We recommend a spot test on an inconspicuous area, before spraying the entire boot.

No product can completely waterproof sheepskin, so avoid scuba diving.

Removable Innersoles: All of our boots (excluding children's and scuffs) have a removable innersole, which can be replaced. When replacing the innersole, ensure that the size is appropriate for the boot. Fit inside the boot from toe to heel ensuring the new innersole is flush with the boot. You may also choose to insert orthopaedic inserts, to aid comfort for those with special requirements.

CLEANING

All of our boots are hand-washable, which makes cleaning a simple five step process:

1. Fill a tub or sink with lukewarm water and wool detergent
2. Soak the entire boot in the water
3. Gently massage the whole skin evenly
4. Rinse the boot thoroughly in clean lukewarm water
5. Leave to dry naturally out of the sun and do not hang dry

HINTS & TIPS

Do not use the washing machine or tumble dryer to wash your boots. Do not use hot water or harsh detergents containing alcohol, bleach, oil, or enzymes.

Take care to wash over the entire boot - do not scrub or overwork any areas, as this may cause colour loss and damage the skin in a specific area.

You may choose to remove and dry the removable innersoles separately, replacing them if they show signs of wear.

Just remember, these are shoes and washing may fade the colour and wear down the material over time.

We recommend infrequent washing for best results.
